A leading NHS trust in London is seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Reporting. This pivotal role involves strategic leadership, oversight of financial planning, reporting, and ensuring clinical teams deliver effective financial performance. The Director of Financial Planning & Reporting will have responsibility for a broad and exciting remit covering Annual Planning, Reporting, Finance Continuous Improvement, Corporate Business Partnering and Productivity. This role is crucial to enabling clinical teams to perform effectively and to ensure divisions are delivering their financial plans.
The post holder will work closely with the Deputy CFO to provide leadership and direction to improve the financial performance of the Trust and deliver on the finance department's improvement programme.
This role requires an inclusive and encouraging leader who will ensure the Trust's equality and diversity ethos and values are applied and promoted. You will be a qualified accountant with significant experience of strategic financial leadership in a complex organisation.
You will have excellent financial modelling skills, sound financial judgement, be comfortable at quickly developing and implementing solutions to highly complex problems, and experience in persuading and influencing key stakeholders.
