Job description

Job Title: Director of Finance

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Finance to join our executive leadership team at St Pancras London. In this senior role, you will be responsible for the hotel’s financial strategy and performance, including financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to support our long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence the executive team and lead your own team with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Advise the General Manager and Executive Committee on financial and operational issues.
  • Communicate financial concepts clearly to drive desired behaviors.
  • Develop and manage the annual operating budget.
  • Support budget reviews to identify cost-saving and productivity opportunities.
  • Implement controls to manage business risks and safeguard assets.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and compliance with SOPs.
  • Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports.
  • Manage cash flow, owner relations, and compliance with management contracts.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive annual business plan aligned with strategic goals.
  • Monitor operational sales and provide analytical support.
  • Manage working capital and produce accurate forecasts.
  • Facilitate management meetings and ensure SOP adherence.

Qualifications:

  • Four-year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance and accounting roles.
