Hartpury University and Hartpury College are seeking a committed leader to shape and drive our English and Maths provision. You will lead a dedicated team delivering GCSE and Functional Skills, while ensuring exceptional teaching quality and strong student outcomes.

The role combines leadership with teaching, assessment and internal verification, and welcomes applicants with experience in GCSE/Level leadership. We value inclusivity and professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent in an appropriate subject.
• Understanding of teaching, learning and assessment processes and high quality delivery.
• Knowledge of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework.
• Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity in the workplace and learning environment.
• Welcoming applications from those with A Level or GCSE teaching/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire an English and Maths team delivering GCSE and Functional Skills programmes.
