Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a senior analytics leader to drive data-driven decision making across the B2B analytics function. You will guide a team of analytics managers and senior analysts, shaping roadmaps that align with business objectives and partner outcomes.

You will apply advanced analytics, ML concepts, and rigorous experimentation to solve complex travel industry problems, while mentoring talent and collaborating across Data Engineering, ML, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• PhD, Master's, or bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related technical field; or equivalent professional experience.
• 12+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or comparable role.
• 4+ years of experience managing analytical teams, including developing managers.
• Proven track record creating meaningful changes through multi-year roadmaps with measurable impact.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python, R, or similar).
• Experience applying statistical techniques, experimental design (A/B testing, causal inference), and ML concepts to business problems.
• Proficient communication and influencing skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of analytics managers and senior analysts.
• Partner with VP/SVP-level stakeholders to influence organizational strategy.
• Oversee multi-year analytics roadmaps and programs with measurable impact.
• Apply advanced analytics, ML concepts, and statistical methods to business problems.
• Establish best practices for analytics engineering, model development, and data visualization.
• Develop talent management strategies including recruitment and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, ML, and Product teams to design scalable solutions.
• Champion inclusive design and data democratization through dashboards and training.
• Present insights to large audiences, communicating complex concepts clearly.
