Job summary

Hyve, a global events tech company, seeks a Director of Data & AI to shape and drive enterprise data and AI initiatives that enable growth, better customer experiences, and smarter decision making.

Reporting to the CTO, you will lead 8–10 professionals spanning Data Engineering, Analytics and AI, own the data platform and semantic model, and promote governance, self-service and responsible AI across the business.

Qualifications

• Director-level experience in data/AI leadership with relevant scale.
• Experience leading teams across Data Engineering, Analytics and AI.
• Proven track record defining and executing enterprise data and AI strategies.
• Hands-on understanding of modern data architecture, warehousing and pipelines.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Hyve's Data & AI strategy and roadmap.
• Lead Data Engineering, Analytics and AI teams to deliver platforms and insights.
• Rationalise report estate and enable self-service.
• Establish governance for data, privacy and security.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure value realization.
