Harmony Fire Ltd. is seeking a Project Director to lead the Building Fabric Delivery operation from the Yeovil office, taking full ownership of the region’s project portfolio and driving delivery performance.

Qualifications

• A-player mindset and senior leadership required for delivery of building fabric projects at scale.
• Strong P&L accountability with experience managing programme costs, margins and commercial risk.
• Proven track record leading large, multi-disciplinary delivery teams and developing people.
• Deep knowledge of building fabric and passive fire protection delivery, with compliance and quality focus.
• Excellent client management at senior levels and a solid understanding of health and safety in construction.
• Demonstrated ability to work from a Yeovil-based office, with Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take full operational and commercial accountability for the Building Fabric Delivery portfolio in Chesterfield — owning P&L, programme performance, quality, client relationships, and team development.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing delivery team — including Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and support staff.
• Oversee the delivery of multiple concurrent building fabric contracts, ensuring projects are on time, on budget, and to required quality standards.
• Own client relationships at senior level and act as primary escalation point to ensure an exceptional contract experience.
• Collaborate with pre-construction and commercial teams to ensure smooth handover from bid to delivery.
• Monitor project financials across the portfolio — track costs, manage variations, control margin, and mitigate risks.
• Embed robust quality and compliance across all delivery activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and share lessons learned for scaling delivery.
• Report on delivery performance to Managing Director and senior leadership.
• Represent Harmony externally with clients, consultants, and industry bodies.
