Job summary

CHAMP Cargosystems seeks a Director of Engineering & Platform to own the technology, platform and engineering organization behind Neo, our cloud-hosted SaaS. You will lead the Cargo BU’s tech strategy and oversee a global engineering TEAM, setting standards and guiding AI-enabled product development across shared services and hosting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering and delivering SaaS products at scale.
• Experience owning a cloud-hosted SaaS platform end-to-end including hosting strategy and cost ownership.
• Strong track record embedding AI into products and leading AI adoption in engineering teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration across product, architecture and delivery.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical strategy and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Set multi-year engineering and technology strategy aligned to product roadmap and growth.
• Own architectural patterns, platforms, and engineering standards across product domains.
• Lead a ~100-person engineering org across multiple geographies; manage external partners.
• Drive platform health: CI/CD, environments, tooling, release management and SLAs/SLOs.
• Champion AI-first engineering culture and responsible AI practices in engineering teams.
