Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking a Director-level architect to own the software lifecycle architecture across the engineering estate, driving CI/CD, security integration, and AI initiatives in London. This role blends engineering leverage with governance and controls, shaping how software is built, tested, secured, and released.

You will define standards, promote automated deployment, and guide modernization of toolchains while enabling AI-enabled improvements to the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Significant experience architecting CI/CD and DevSecOps platforms at enterprise scale.
• Strong test automation background.
• Hands-on exposure to production AI/ML or LLM systems.
• Deep practical security integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Define the reference CI/CD architecture: branching model, build standards, artefact management, environment promotion, release patterns and rollback.
• Drive convergence of fragmented toolchains onto a supported, paved-road platform, with a clear deprecation path for legacy pipelines.
• Establish deployment and change automation that satisfies audit and change management requirements without manual gates.
