We are working with a top-tier global consulting firm with a fast-growing M&A Advisory practice. As demand for strategic M&A support surges across the Financial Services sector, they are expanding their senior leadership team. They are seeking an Integration & Separation Director to help clients navigate complex deals from strategy through execution—while playing a key role in scaling a thriving practice.

As a Director, you will lead complex integration, carve-out, and separation engagements for their Financial Services clients. You will work end-to-end, from operational due diligence through Day 1 readiness and 100-day planning, bringing a pragmatic, execution-focused mindset. In parallel, you will contribute to business development, shaping compelling proposals and building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery of complex integration and separation projects, including synergy identification, TOM development, and execution planning.
• Partner with clients through operational due diligence, working alongside financial and legal advisors to assess readiness and risk.
• Own Day 1 planning, 100-day execution, and full integration lifecycle management.
• Develop and grow client relationships across insurance, wealth management, asset management, pensions, and banking.
• Play a pivotal role in business development—developing proposals, pitching services, and growing the practice.
• Mentor and develop junior team members to support continued practice growth.
• Collaborate across service lines (strategy, technology, transformation) to bring the best of the firm to clients.

Requirements

• Significant consulting experience, ideally from a Big 4 or strategy consultancy, with a strong track record in M&A integration and separation.
• Deep understanding of the Financial Services landscape—experience in insurance, asset/wealth management, pensions is ideal, banking experience welcome.
• Proven delivery across the M&A lifecycle—from due diligence to Day 1/100-day plans and beyond.
• Strong leadership, client engagement, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial acumen and appetite for business development.
