Job Description:

We are exclusively retained by a leading global professional services firm to appoint a Partner – M&A Integration & Value Creation. This is a key strategic hire within the firm’s UK Advisory practice, focused on supporting mid-market clients across sectors through complex integrations, separations, and operational value delivery initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on end-to-end integration and separation strategy and execution within the UK mid-market
  • Design and implement synergy capture plans and performance improvement roadmaps
  • Assess operational readiness and risks pre-deal, and develop mitigation strategies
  • Drive growth through business development, client relationship management, and brand visibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including financial, legal, IT, HR, and operational specialists
  • Oversee project delivery with a focus on efficiency, impact, and quality
  • Contribute to service innovation, internal capability building, and best practice sharing
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams across the deal lifecycle
  • Represent the firm in client discussions, industry forums, and thought leadership events

Candidate Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in M&A integration, separation, or operational due diligence within a Big Four or top-tier advisory/consulting environment
  • Proven expertise in advising mid-market clients on complex operational challenges within transactions
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and deliver value creation opportunities
  • Demonstrated success in originating and growing client relationships
  • Effective leadership, team development, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities with a strategic, client-centric approach
  • Experience working with both private equity and corporate clients
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as required
