The Health and Social Care Sales Director will join a collaborative team aiming to strengthen existing relationships and forge new ones. This role is central to the growth of our UK Healthcare sector team. Working with Solution Engineering, Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Customer Success teams, you will own, co-develop, and execute the sales go-to-market strategy, identify new opportunities, build our pipeline, win new deals, and meet company targets.

What you’ll be doing.

Responsibilities include working with our Head of UK Public Sector to define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the UK Healthcare and Social Sector; consistently delivering against sales targets and contributing to overall business growth. Your role will involve both hunting for new clients and farming existing accounts, nurturing our pipeline, and pursuing new logos.

You will coordinate with various teams, including Solutions Engineers, Marketing, Delivery, and Solution Success.

This role also involves partnering with the Healthcare Industry Leader to ensure alignment with the Product team, both externally when approaching the market and internally when translating client demands into the Healthcare Product Roadmap.

Additionally, you will leverage our partner ecosystem to support go-to-market efforts.

What you’ll bring.

  • A good understanding of Healthcare Sector issues and the ability to advise and solutionize with customers through a consultative sales approach.
  • Experience in other global health and care industries and/or life sciences is a plus but not essential.
  • A proven track record of positioning and selling enterprise software, either directly or through an ecosystem.
  • Contacts within NHS England, Integrated Care Boards, Trusts, and Local Authorities.
  • Experience meeting sales targets in a sales-oriented role.
  • Proficiency in selling to CxO level, including CEO, CDIO, CDO, and CDA.
  • Experience building partnerships with System Integrators, Cloud platform providers, and Consultancy organizations.
  • A good understanding of Public Sector operational and procurement processes.
  • Experience nurturing accounts and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Determination to succeed in challenging circumstances.
  • Ability to work effectively within sales teams and lead opportunities.
  • Independent decision-making skills, balanced with inclusiveness in evaluating options.
  • Ambitious, energetic, with strong interpersonal skills.
