Job Description:

The Director, Growth Products (Agentic Commerce), is part of Visa Europe's wider Growth Products & Partnerships team focused on forging new commercial structures and non-traditional product partnerships across key emerging segments. This role will focus on Agentic Commerce opportunities and be responsible for pursuing and executing new commercial & strategic partnerships with AI companies, global fintechs, and emerging digital platforms. The role requires a balanced mix of solutioning, sales, partnership development, and thought leadership. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong business and product acumen, industry experience, and business development skills, with the ability to formulate and pursue strategies for growth in the AI space.

This role requires an in-depth understanding of Visa and partner capabilities, needs, and goals, driving towards successful outcomes such as non-traditional deal execution, new product or market launches, pilots, growing existing business lines, or other strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Business Development:
    • Structure and execute commercial agreements with AI companies, digital platforms, fintechs, and key technology partners within Visa’s ecosystem.
    • Develop expertise in key growth areas like generative AI and agentic commerce, and develop segment strategies to expand Visa’s presence in AI.
  2. Product Partnerships & Solutioning:
    • Identify and develop opportunities to integrate emerging technologies into existing or new products, working closely with product and technology teams, structuring business cases, and managing complex deals.
    • Support discovery, ideation, and solutioning with partners, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  3. Thought Leadership:
    • Provide feedback to Visa product teams to influence roadmaps and strategies.
    • Develop an approachable narrative to support ecosystem engagement.
    • Identify and sponsor Visa Venture investments.

This position is hybrid; in-office days will be confirmed by your manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Proven success in developing and executing business strategies in fast-paced environments
  • Strong understanding of Agentic Commerce, digital payments, and emerging tech

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with the ability to connect complex ecosystem dots
  • Leadership qualities, enthusiasm, and pride in work
  • Extensive product, sales, and management experience in payments/financial services, especially in AI and related areas
  • Track record in managing complex deals from negotiation to delivery
  • Experience in executive communication and strategic initiatives
  • Strong storytelling and passion for financial services improvements
  • Ability to influence in complex environments and excellent soft skills
