Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of qualified professionals to assess and mitigate finance risk across key finance change processes, transformations, and global projects.
2. Provide strategic insight into risk areas and advocate risk mitigation strategies with finance, project, and technology leaders.
3. Manage project funding models and stakeholder expectations to ensure appropriate resources for risk-related activities.
4. Establish engagement models with projects to ensure timely involvement and governance.
5. Drive risk mitigation considering cost, digital approaches, and business goals.
6. Integrate risk management with project management processes.
7. Partner with GPOs to identify automation opportunities and support risk assessment of digital tools.
8. Report to stakeholders on project status and risk mitigation plans.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or CIA risk qualification
• Experience leading a team in assessing finance risks
• Strong finance background with understanding of financial systems and processes
• Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
