Position:

Director, Global Finance Risk Management & Controls (FRMC), Projects & Change Management

Role Overview:

Are you energized by a high-profile finance risk management role that allows you to shape risk programs and challenge organizational thinking to make informed business decisions?

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of qualified professionals to assess and mitigate finance risk across change processes, transformations, migrations, and projects.
  2. Provide strategic insights into risk areas and advocate for cost-efficient, practical risk mitigation with finance, project, and tech leaders.
  3. Manage funding models and stakeholder expectations to ensure resources support risk-related projects.
  4. Establish engagement models with projects to ensure timely involvement and governance.
  5. Drive risk mitigation strategies aligned with cost efficiency, digital approaches, and business goals.
  6. Integrate risk management with project management processes including planning and monitoring.
  7. Partner with GPOs to identify automation opportunities and support risk mitigation in digital tools.
  8. Report to stakeholders on project status and risk mitigation plans.
Qualifications:
Basic:
  • Qualified accountant or CIA risk qualification
  • Experience leading finance risk assessments
  • Strong finance background and understanding of financial systems
  • Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
Preferred:
  • Stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Effective communication across functions
  • Experience developing financial controls
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Leadership and team development skills
