Job summary

Sibelco is looking for a Director Operations – Glass Recycling Cluster UK based at Newhouse to co-own the cluster P&L and oversee site operations in line with safety, quality and sustainability standards.

You will lead Capex projects, strategic staffing in collaboration with Site Managers and HRM, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with corporate policies and BST support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive industry experience in recycling, heavy industry or cement.
• Strong leadership in transformation environments.
• Native English language essential; right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the cluster P&L and implement growth strategy.
• Deliver the cluster’s P&L and meet safety, quality, planning and cost targets.
• Manage the BST and HR/Procurement processes.
• Lead staff staffing needs with Site Managers and HRM.
• Direct day-to-day operations of the team including engineering, QHSE and waste.
• Drive cluster performance triangle meetings with the Cluster Commercial Director.
