Job summary

Sibelco UK Ltd in Talke is seeking a Director Operations to lead 8 sites, including 5 silica sand sites, and co-own the cluster P&L, driving the operations and growth strategy in line with quality, HSE and sustainability standards.

You will partner with the Commercial Director to deliver performance, develop talent, and ensure staffing needs are met across the cluster, while maintaining compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background and hands-on ability.
• Leadership across multiple sites.
• Experience with P/L delivery and growth strategy.
• UK mining/minerals or cement industry experience.
• Experience with the Quarries Regulations 1999.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 8 sites including 5 silica sand sites.
• Co-owner of the cluster P&L.
• Lead safety, quality, planning and costs.
• Develop talent and staff progression across the cluster.
• Partner with Commercial Director to grow the business.
