Job summary

Sibelco in Sheffield is seeking a Manager Operations to lead the Glass Recycling site, shaping the operational, production and maintenance activities in line with our values.

You will drive Zero Harm safety, deliver first-class service to customers, optimise costs and site yield, and champion continuous improvement of processes, production scheduling and talent development.

• Experience leading operations in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong focus on safety and process safety management.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive operations to maintain and develop processing plants across the Glass Recycling Cluster.
• Ensure zero harm safety, first-class service, and cost reduction.
• Lead production scheduling and improve processes for better site yield and value-added products.
• Implement Operational Excellence principles and tools across the site.
• Develop talent, competence and career progression of staff within the area.
