Job summary

Global Bank in New York seeks a senior Treasury professional to manage ALM, liquidity, and funding within approved mandates. You will oversee balance sheet strategies, monitor regulatory metrics, and coordinate with Country Management, Risk, and Head Office Funding Centre.

The role requires extensive Treasury experience, strong market risk knowledge, and excellent analytical skills to support ALCO reporting and liquidity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Treasury and Asset Liability Management.
• Strong understanding of market risk, financial markets, and macro indicators.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and disciplined approach to risk and compliance management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the balance sheet to ensure efficient funding and asset utilization.
• Execute treasury transactions related to money markets, FX, and funding within approved limits.
• Monitor liquidity, funding requirements, and balance sheet indicators for policy/regulatory compliance.
• Identify and manage interest rate, liquidity, and FX risks; escalate breaches promptly.
• Support adherence to U.S. regulatory frameworks including LCR and IRRBB.
• Maintain treasury governance and internal controls.
• Produce management information reports and insights for Treasury leadership and Head Office.
• Contribute to ALCO reporting with liquidity, balance sheet, and risk analysis.
• Participate in liquidity stress testing and contingency funding planning.
• Develop relationships with banks, brokers, and financial counterparties.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
