YOUR ROLE

Capgemini is a recognized leader in providing application consulting services to a diverse range of clients across industries. Our Finance Transformation practice within Capgemini Invent is experiencing significant growth, and we are seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Finance Transformation Director with deep expertise in Finance processes, ERP systems particularly in shaping and delivering complex finance transformations.

As a Finance Transformation Director, you will play a key role in;

  • Growing the business: Be a driver in the development and expansion of the finance transformation practice
  • Shaping Finance transformations : Leverage your cross functional process knowledge, SAP and its application to finance to guide clients. Advocate clients on optimizing their finance processes by shaping up transformation programmes across Processes, data, systems and operating models.
  • Delivering projects: Lead and deliver complex Finance Transformation engagements for clients
  • Building credible advisor relationships: Pursue and cultivate trusted and credible business relationships

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, POVs
  • Development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company and certifications.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Proven delivery leadership of Finance transformation programmes through platforms such as SAP (ECC and S/4HANA)
  • Experience and knowledge in key finance technologies including other cloud ERP platforms (Workday financials management, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies (GEN AI) and its application on Finance to provide cutting-edge solutions.
  • In-depth process expertise in designing optimised and digitised Finance processes (Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, Acquire-to-Retire)
  • Expertise in proposition building with compelling business cases
  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, with a proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generating c.£2m of consulting revenues.
  • Professional Finance or Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or a master’s degree in technology, Finance, business or similar is desired
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly solve complex issues.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, planning, influencing, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Driven, results-oriented, with a passion for overcoming challenges, adapting to change, and achieving success.
  • Experience in managing a sales pipeline and leading the bid/proposal process.
  • Experienced in coaching and developing teams
