This role, in partnership with peers in the Finance senior leadership team, is responsible for delivering the Finance Vision and function objectives to achieve the company's strategic priorities. To do this, the role requires collaboration across teams at PIC to source and implement efficiencies in people, processes, and technology. It is a senior leadership position with responsibilities for leading complex, technical change initiatives within an evolving regulatory and economic landscape.

Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage the Finance Systems & Projects Team, ensuring the Finance Change Portfolio is appropriately resourced with the right skills to deliver outcomes. Develop talent to enhance technical and non-technical skills.
- Develop regular communication on Finance Change activities, risks, and incidents for management information packs for senior management, Committees, and Boards.
- Act as a change agent, leveraging influence and persuasion, while remaining a trusted advisor to the Executive Committee and Board.
- Support the Finance senior leadership team in guiding the Finance vision, objectives, and growth plans to the Boards and Committees.
- Take ownership of the Finance Change Portfolio and Systems Strategy, focusing on efficiency and scalability.
- Lead and manage financial systems and projects with regulatory, legal, and risk considerations.
- Communicate complex financial implications clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Oversee governance and control of financial systems and change capabilities within the finance function.
- Develop and elevate the talent within the finance change, systems, and project management team.
Experience:
- Qualifications or strong experience in Actuarial, Financial Management, Accounting, or Financial Project Management.
- Proven strategic leadership in guiding finance vision and growth.
- Experience in leading finance transformation, including process and system enhancements within regulated environments.
- Experience in leading and developing teams.
- Advising Boards and senior management on governance and technical financial matters.
- Experience in finance transformation initiatives from advisory to implementation.
