Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a Director of Finance Systems Engineering to lead teams delivering enterprise planning platforms, custom Finance solutions, and SaaS applications that align with SAP ERP ecosystems.

The role requires translating business priorities into scalable technology strategies, building AI/ML-enabled capabilities, and driving cross-functional collaboration with Finance and IT teams. A dynamic leader will shape a high‑performing organization across finance tech domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS/Engineering.
• 10+ years leading enterprise application/software engineering in large enterprises.
• 5+ years leading through managers and organizational design.
• Experience building/leading multidisciplinary teams across software engineering and enterprise apps.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario-modeling platforms.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes and operations (planning, budgeting, forecasting).
• Ability to translate business objectives into technology strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of software engineering, enterprise architecture, integration, data, and cloud concepts.
• Ability to develop talent and partner with Data/ML teams for enterprise AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning/forecasting platforms, custom Finance solutions, and Finance SaaS applications.
• Translate business priorities into technology strategies, roadmaps, and solutions.
• Own the technology portfolio and multi-year roadmap balancing priorities, debt, and lifecycle.
• Establish engineering/product practices balancing speed, value, UX, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Partner with EA, Data, ML, Integration, Infra, and Cybersecurity teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
