Job summary

Tile Hill is recruiting for a senior leader to head Reading's environmental services portfolio, reporting to the Executive Director for Economic Growth and Neighbourhood Services. You’ll oversee waste and recycling, highways and traffic, streetscene and fleet, with a budget of over £30 million to drive performance and service improvements.

• Lead a portfolio spanning waste and recycling, highways and traffic, streetscene and fleet.
• Oversee a gross budget of more than £30 million and identify improvements in service delivery.
• Shape fleet replacement and modernisation of highways delivery.
• Work with Members to turn priorities into deliverable plans and provide sound advice.
• Establish trusted relationships with stakeholders and lead a directly managed workforce.
