Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure or asset-intensive environments.
• Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering measurable business value through data-driven decisions.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience influencing major investments and portfolio optimization.
• Solid understanding of energy markets, forecasting methodologies and analytics frameworks.
• Experience driving digital transformation and continuous improvement within a complex business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Energy Analytics function, defining strategy and operating model to support SSE Renewables' growth.
• Provide strategic oversight of energy forecasting, resource assessment, performance analytics and portfolio optimisation.
• Support executive decision-making with independent challenge, analysis and recommendations on asset performance and investments.
• Champion innovation and digital transformation to unlock new opportunities and improve performance.
• Build and develop a high-performing team with a culture of safety, wellbeing, inclusion and continuous improvement.
