This role involves providing engineering and architectural leadership to ensure the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) delivers next-generation data capabilities supporting our digital platform. The position requires partnering with Data Migration, Cloud architecture & development, and Business teams to create solutions enabling hybrid workloads on-premise and in the cloud, considering data gravity, jurisdiction, and egress.

The EDP encompasses platforms, frameworks, and services that facilitate data movement, quality, storage, archiving, cataloging, access, manipulation, and consumption throughout its lifecycle. The goal is to make data discoverable and accessible, unlocking business insights through ML and traditional analytics tools.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Partnering with architecture and development teams to execute the cloud data modernization strategy.
2. Managing and delivering the data modernization plan, aligning data and analytics with the appropriate technology stack.
3. Driving capabilities in the EDP platform focusing on Hybrid Cloud strategies and Event-Based solutions.
4. Communicating designs to the Architecture council, CTO, and CSO organizations.
5. Ensuring adherence to technical standards and SDLC, with a focus on code quality.
6. Promoting Agile team practices, encouraging interactive delivery and continuous improvement.
7. Providing leadership, fostering learning of new technologies within the team.

The role also involves leading and managing engineering teams, ensuring high-quality software delivery, fostering innovation, and aligning technical decisions with business goals.
