Job summary

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems is seeking staff for a Residential Habilitative Program in Wallingford, PA. You will provide support, personal assistance, training, and quality care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a community group home.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required. State-appropriate clearances are required; the role includes competitive pay and a comprehensive rewards package. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits.

• Experience: None required.
• Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history are required; verify that the employee is not on Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion lists.

Responsibilities

• Assist persons served in reaching their goals of becoming more independent.
• Act as a positive role model for persons served.
• Provide guidance, instruction, coaching, and support per individual plans.
• Engage individuals in beneficial programs and activities.
• Transport and accompany individuals to appointments and outings.
• Directly assist with personal care as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and routine homemaking duties.
• Ensure safety regarding medical/medication needs.
• Apply approved behavior plans and intervention strategies as needed.
• Complete records and reports; collect data per agency policy.

Under the general direction of the Division Manager of Residential Services, with specific supervision from the House Manager, is responsible for the provision of support, personal assistance, training, and quality care to people with intellectual disabilities residing in a community group home.

Job Duties

• Assist persons served in reaching their goals of becoming more independent
