Job summary

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor at Tong School for a 10-hour-per-week term-time post. Salary is £6,616–£6,677 per annum, inclusive of £682 Distant Islands Allowance.

You will supervise pupils in the dining room, ensure their safety and welfare, assist younger pupils with money handling and tray carrying, and promote healthy meal choices for all pupils.

The role requires PVG scheme membership, interviews are in person, and the closing date is 9 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall during lunch.
• Promote safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils.
• Assist younger pupils with handling money and carrying trays.
