Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor at Tong School for a 10-hour-per-week term-time post. Salary is £6,616–£6,677 per annum, inclusive of £682 Distant Islands Allowance.

You will supervise pupils in the dining room, ensure their safety and welfare, assist younger pupils with money handling and tray carrying, and promote healthy meal choices for all pupils.

The role requires PVG scheme membership, interviews are in person, and the closing date is 9 November 2026.

The post holder will be required for the supervision of pupils in the dining room during the lunch period. You will be responsible for the safety, welfare and good conduct of the pupils, assist younger pupils with handling of money, carrying trays and promote healthy choices to all pupils.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme as a legal requirement of a regulated role with Children ( Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme - mygov.scot ).
