Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to prepare meals and support residents at Peaker Park Care Village in Market Harborough. You will work with dietary requirements, perform quality checks, assist with service and maintain stock records.

Ideally you hold a Food Hygiene or Catering qualification, though training is provided. A caring nature and patience are essential to help residents with dignity and comfort in daily life.

What we're looking for in our Kitchen Assistant: To be successful within this role, you will have a genuine caring nature and a, desire to make a real difference for our residents, You will be an experienced Cook, ideally holding a Food Hygiene and/or Catering qualification, though this is not essential as Prime Life can support you with the training necessary for this role.

Make a difference every day and give back to your community! This role will be based at Peaker Park Care Village, in the heart of Market Harborough. The Care Village has been specially designed to cater to the every need of 137 residents, living with a range of age related health conditions, physical disabilities and mental health conditions that require dignified support from our caring team. Additionally, many of our residents are living with Dementia and may also require one to one personal support to maintain their daily independence. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our resident's individual abilities.
