Job Description

Red Bull Powertrains is a Formula One power unit manufacturing company, located at the Red Bull Technology Campus in Milton Keynes. Established in 2021, our team is expanding with talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, all dedicated to developing a championship-winning Power Unit compliant with 2026 regulations.

We are looking for a skilled Quality Inspector to carry out Dimensional Inspection of Powertrain components during supply and in-service use. This role requires effective teamwork, clear communication, initiative, and a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.

The role:
  1. Identify non-conforming components, complete inspection reports, and provide accurate information for decision-making.
  2. Ensure data accuracy and reliability, and correctly input information into business systems.
  3. Write non-conformance reports to document dimensional or visual defects on engine components.
  4. Perform daily calibration of inspection equipment.
  5. Collaborate with Quality Engineers to review, improve inspection processes, and support standard operating procedures.

To succeed, you should have previous experience in a similar role, ideally within Automotive, Aerospace, or precision engineering. Experience with complex components such as heads, blocks, crankshafts, and gears is beneficial.

You should possess extensive knowledge of GD&T and in-depth experience with CMMs. Familiarity with Talyrond, Talysurf, and Quindos is advantageous.
