Job description

Red Bull Powertrains is a Formula One power unit manufacturing company and the newest addition to the state-of-the-art facility at the Red Bull Technology Campus in Milton Keynes. Formed in 2021, Red Bull Powertrains is continuously expanding its team of experienced and talented individuals from various backgrounds, all working towards developing a championship-winning Power Unit that will comply with 2026 regulations.

The role:

  1. Carry out Dimensional Inspection during the supply and in-service use of Powertrain components.
  2. Identify non-conforming components, complete inspection reports, and deliver accurate information to support decision-making.
  3. Ensure data provided is reliable and accurately entered into business systems.
  4. Write non-conformance reports to document dimensional or visual defects on engine components.
  5. Perform daily calibration of required equipment.
  6. Collaborate with Quality Engineers to review, create, and improve inspection processes and support standard operating procedures to eliminate faults and maximize capabilities.

To be successful, candidates should have previous experience in a similar role, ideally within Automotive, Aerospace, or precision engineering. Hands-on experience with complex components such as Heads, Blocks, Crankshafts, and Gears would be beneficial.

Extensive knowledge of GD&T and in-depth understanding of CMMs are required. Previous exposure to Talyrond, Talysurf, and Quindos would be advantageous.
