Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to safeguard dimensional integrity across engine components, from initial build to race-ready parts.

You will apply GD&T and perform internal dimensional inspections, write NCRs, calibrate equipment daily, and contribute to a team focused on precision, reliability and performance for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in Automotive or Aerospace or precision engineering is required.
• Hands-on experience with complex components (Heads, Blocks, Crankshafts, Gears) is beneficial.
• Extensive knowledge of GD&T is essential.
• Exposure to Talysurf and Quindos is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify non-conforming components and complete inspection reports with reliable data.
• Ensure data entered into business systems is accurate and reliable.
• Write non-conformance reports for dimensional/visual defects on engine components.

Red Bull Powertrains have multiple exciting opportunities for experienced Quality Inspectors to join our team as we progress through our first‑ever racing season with a fully Red Bull designed power unit. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of quality across every stage of engine development, from initial build through to race ready performance. Your expertise will directly support the delivery of a power unit engineered to compete at the front of the 2026 Formula One grid, helping us push the limits of precision, reliability and performance.

Shift: 4x4 day shift (0700-1900)

Contract: 12 month Fixed Term Contract

You will carry out Internal Dimensional Inspection for the supply of Powertrain components. This challenging position requires effective teamwork, clear communication, initiative, intelligent judgment, achieving and maintaining production efficiency and most importantly, an unwavering dedication to the quality of our products.

The role:

• Identify non-conforming components, completion of Inspection reports and deliver accurate information to enable best decision making
• Ensure that data provided is 100% reliable and accurate information is entered into the business systems correctly
• Accurately write non‑conformance reports to capture any dimensional or visual defects on engine components
• Carry out daily calibration of required equipment

To be successful:

• You will need to have previous experience within a similar role ideally within Automotive/Aerospace or precision engineering.
• Having hands on experience with complex components such as, Heads, Blocks, Crankshafts and Gears would be beneficial.
• You will need extensive knowledge of GD&T and knowledge of CMM’s.
• Previous exposure to Talysurf & Quindos would be advantageous.
