Job summary

Williams F1 Team is seeking a DIL Test Engineer to own operation, maintenance, and execution of the full-motion simulator for non-F1 activities, including Driver Academy and Heritage experiences.

You’ll plan and deliver sessions, configure vehicle/track models, set up hardware/software, and lead sessions on the day while maintaining the facility and calendar with a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Experience operating simulation, real-time control, or complex facilities.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with motion platforms and simulation software is a bonus.
• Strong data acquisition and telemetry knowledge.
• Methodical session planning, configuration, and data management.
• High standards of documentation across maintenance and issues.
• Proactive problem-solver with clear communication.

Responsibilities

You'll also own the maintenance of the facility, running a proactive schedule to keep downtime to an absolute minimum, and managing the simulator calendar to balance competing demands.This is a role where technical precision and people skills matter in equal measure.
