MBDA UK is seeking a Digital Workplace Project Manager to drive digital transformation across our Facilities Management estate. You will lead and coordinate multiple projects, align them to the FM roadmap and work with internal stakeholders, suppliers and security teams.
The role requires strong planning, governance and change-management skills. The position is hybrid, with on-site work 2–3 days per week and BPSS security checks after offer. Prior PRINCE2/APM experience is advantageous.
We’re on an exciting journey to transform how digital technology, systems and data support our Facilities Management (FM) services. As we develop our FM Digital & Data Strategy and multi-year roadmap, we’re looking for a Digital Workplace Project Manager to help turn our ambitions into reality.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering digital transformation across a complex and evolving estate, introducing smarter ways of working, improving how our systems connect and helping us deliver better experiences for our people.
Salary: Circa £55-65K depending on experience. Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification. Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. You typically need 5 years of continuous UK residency. Not having spent five years in the UK may not automatically disqualify you, but please be aware we cannot guarantee the outcome of the security clearance process and this may impact your ability to work for MBDA; these are processed on a case by case basis.
Working within our FM Workplace Systems team, you’ll lead and coordinate a range of digital projects that support our wider FM priorities. Our digital landscape is evolving, with opportunities spanning workplace technology, FM systems, data and reporting, smart buildings, digital asset information and automation. You’ll be responsible for taking agreed initiatives from concept through to successful delivery, working closely with internal stakeholders, technical specialists, suppliers and operational teams. Some projects will be delivered individually, while others will run in parallel, requiring effective planning, coordination and management of dependencies.
We’re looking for an organised, proactive project professional who enjoys bringing people together, solving problems and delivering meaningful change. You’ll ideally bring:
Experience within Facilities Management, estates, property, workplace technology or integrated business systems would be advantageous, but is not essential. A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM or equivalent experience, would also be beneficial.
