Job summary

The University of Surrey is seeking a Systems Analyst to join the IT Services team as part of a digital transformation. The role focuses on leading consultation to gather, shape and define business requirements and translate them into deliverable IT solutions that support the University's Vision and Strategic Plans.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams across the portfolio, document requirements, consider privacy, accessibility and security, and ensure solutions fit

Qualifications

Experience in gathering and shaping business requirements.
Ability to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Knowledge of information security, privacy, accessibility considerations.

Responsibilities

Lead consultation to gather and define business requirements.
Develop requirements through analysis into deliverable IT solutions.
Support stakeholders and project teams from concept to delivery.
Document requirements and promote suitable IT solutions.
Ensure designs align with University architecture and IT strategy.
