This role is based in our Northampton location.

Purpose of the role

Design, develop, and improve software utilizing various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-standard programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements, devise strategies, and ensure seamless integration aligned with business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and contribute to the organization’s technology communities.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
• Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with other functions/business divisions, advise on decision-making, and contribute to policy development.
• Lead or guide team members on complex tasks, set objectives, and coach employees to achieve goals.
