Job summary

BDO is seeking a capable Digital Transformation Manager in Manchester to lead technology-enabled transformation programmes for clients, driving performance improvements and sustainable value. You will work across strategy, discovery, selection, implementation and adoption, coordinating with Data, Cyber, Infrastructure, and Risk experts.

You will contribute to business development and talent growth within the Digital Transformation practice.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes.
• Strong project and change management capabilities.
• Experience with ERP/CRM implementations from vendors such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, Microsoft, Sage and IFS.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver technology-enabled transformation programmes that help clients solve complex business challenges and realise sustainable value.
• Manage and guide projects through full lifecycle from strategy to adoption across diverse client bases.
• Collaborate with Data, Cyber, Infrastructure, Business Applications, and Risk teams to deliver integrated solutions.

As a Manager within BDO's Digital Transformation team, you will lead and deliver technology‑enabled transformation programmes that help clients solve complex business challenges, improve performance, and realise sustainable business value.

Working across a diverse client base, you will support organisations through the full transformation lifecycle, from strategy and discovery through to technology selection, implementation, and adoption.

You will work closely with other Digital specialists in Data, Cyber, Infrastructure, Business Applications, and Risk to deliver integrated solutions, while also contributing to business development, practice growth, and the development of our people and culture.

You'll be someone with:

• Experience managing Digital Transformation engagements, including: digital strategy, business analysis/discovery, project / programme planning and systems implementation management.
• A strong understanding of project/change management and/or business analysis frameworks and methodologies, including one or more of: PRINCE2 or Agile or MSP, Lean Six Sigma or ADKAR
• Experience of working with, assessing, or implementing leading Business Applications from vendors such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, Microsoft, Sage and IFS.
• The proven ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.
• Experience leading small teams and collaborating effectively with senior internal stakeholders.
