  • Job Title – Digital Trading Executive
  • Location – BL9 8RR
  • Working rota – Monday - Friday
  • Working hours – 40 hours
  • Working model – 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home

Trading Executive

This role, working with the Trading Manager, will focus on driving sales, GPV, and EBIT targets for our Multichannel business, including digital channels and in-store devices. Collaborating with the Buying & Merchandising team, you'll ensure sales planning and execution, create weekly trading summaries, and monitor daily performance.

  • Review weekly performance and plan actions accordingly.
  • Analyze daily sales to identify weaknesses and optimize stock availability.
  • Track and report on slow sellers and low GP% items, suggesting markdowns and promotions.
  • Coordinate promotional activities and product features for marketing channels.
  • Review store bestsellers and merchandising rules to maximize sales.
  • Utilize data analysis tools like Content Square and Similar Web to improve conversion and performance.
  • Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising teams to optimize online ranges seasonally.
  • Refine merchandising strategies based on traffic and sales data.
  • Report on key metrics including availability, stockholding, sell-through, margin, sales, and returns.
  • Build relationships with divisional teams and across digital marketing functions.
  • Drive trading activities to meet planned targets and apply best practices.
  • Identify opportunities and current threats, proposing solutions.
Skills/Experience

Highly numerate with a strong commercial focus. Proficient in Excel; SQL knowledge is a plus. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Well-organized with good prioritization and time management. Experience in sports or fashion retail is advantageous.
