Job summary

BDO UK LLP is seeking a Senior Manager for its Third Party Assurance team in London. You will lead multi-workstream engagements, win and expand client work, and shape complex proposals while maintaining high risk controls and delivery quality.

You’ll drive business development, originate opportunities, and mentor teams, partnering with senior stakeholders to build trust and demonstrate regulatory compliance across clients and markets.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in technology risk, IT assurance, IT internal audit, risk and controls.
• Experience delivering assurance, audit, compliance or risk engagements in tech, cybersecurity or privacy.
• Strong understanding of assurance frameworks (SOC 1/ISAE 3402, SOC 2/ISAE 3000, GDPR etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-workstream engagements and communicate with executives and audit committees.
• Originate opportunities through relationships and cross-firm collaboration.
• Shape proposals, negotiate scope and fees with strong risk management.
• Develop and mentor teams to enable sustainable growth.
