Thales Group in Belfast seeks an Industrial Information Systems Engineer to support the MES across UK ICCs. You will help gather requirements, implement standards, deploy solutions, and provide ongoing technical support for MES users.
You will translate operational needs into technical specs, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to continuous improvement of MES services. A manufacturing degree and familiarity with MES, industrial IT, and IoT are required.

The Industrial Information Systems Engineer supports the UK MES Product Owner in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) application across UK industrial competence centres (ICCs). This role assists with requirements analysis, technical solution development, deployment activities, and ongoing support to MES users. The position aims to ensure the effective operation and continual improvement of MES solutions in line with UK ICC standards and requirements.

It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance prior to commencing employment. If approved by the MOD, a dual national from a non-ITAR country may be considered. To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years' residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
