Nellsar is a family-run care group with 13 Homes across Kent, Surrey and Essex. We are looking for a Digital Systems Support Assistant to join our team and work with the Digital Transformation Manager to support the effective use of technology across our care homes and central functions.
You’ll provide day-to-day digital and device support, respond to technical issues, maintain equipment and assist with rollouts of new digital solutions. Travel between locations is required.

Location: Peripatetic (Base is Sittingbourne Head Office ME10 4HN) with travel across Kent, Surrey & Essex. Mileage allowances paid as per policy.
Must have clean UK driving licence and own vehicle.

We are looking for a Digital Systems Support Assistant to join our team and work closely with our Digital Transformation Manager, supporting the effective use of technology and digital systems across our care homes and central support functions.
Reporting directly to the Digital Transformation Manager, you will provide day-to-day digital and device support, respond to technical issues, maintain equipment and assist with the implementation of new digital solutions across Nellsar.
This is a hands-on role with a particular focus on Care Vision devices, mobile phones, tablets and other digital equipment. You will be an important link between our care homes, colleagues, software providers and external IT support partners, helping to ensure our technology is reliable, accessible and fit for purpose.
We’re looking for someone who is practical, organised, reliable and confident with technology, with a genuine willingness to help others.
You’ll ideally have experience providing basic IT support in a workplace environment, or demonstrable equivalent experience. You should have a good understanding of computers, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, printers and common IT equipment, along with experience using Android and Apple devices.
You’ll also need:
An IT-related qualification or training such as BTEC, NVQ, CompTIA or equivalent would be desirable, but relevant practical experience is equally valuable.
Technology plays an increasingly important part in the day-to-day running of our care homes. From supporting digital care records to keeping communication and essential equipment working, your role will help colleagues use technology confidently and effectively.
You’ll work as part of the digital support function, reporting directly to the Digital Transformation Manager and helping to deliver Nellsar’s ongoing digital transformation programme.
Most importantly, you’ll be providing support in a care environment where resident safety, confidentiality and continuity of care are always at the forefront.
