Job description

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust (LGT) is a community-focused provider delivering high-quality local and acute care services to over one million residents across the London boroughs of Lewisham, Greenwich, and Bexley. We support our communities to live healthier lives and provide care when needed most.

Employing nearly 7,500 colleagues, known as Team LGT, we operate at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, University Hospital Lewisham, and various community settings. We also provide some services at Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup.

Our recent launch of new vision and values coincides with our 10th anniversary in 2013. Our vision is to be exceptional in patient care, support for colleagues, and community partnerships. We value Respect, Compassion, and Inclusion; Accountability over comfort; Listening over always knowing best; and Succeeding together over achieving alone. More about our vision and values can be found here.

Our hospitals and community sites offer a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and planned care services. Over three-quarters of our services are rated as 'good' or 'outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission.

Annually, we perform 10,000 procedures in theatres, deliver 7,500 births, conduct 570,000 patient visits in homes and communities, and provide emergency care for over 300,000 patients in our Urgent and Emergency Departments.

LGT is a hub for medical education and training, working with King's College London's GKT School of Medical Education. We train nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals, and are among the largest employers of physician associates nationally.

We actively collaborate with partners to improve health outcomes through participation in the South East London Integrated Care System (ICS), the South East London Acute Provider Collaborative, mental health trusts, and borough-based ICS boards in Bexley, Greenwich, and Lewisham.

Job overview

The post holder will oversee the daily operations of all LGT's Desktop equipment, Client/Server Systems, and Digital Systems used by clinical and corporate users across acute and community settings. They will assist the Digital Support Services Lead in providing BAU support within SLAs and managing system changes.

  3. Collaborate with the Head of Digital Support and Cyber Security team to conduct risk assessments and ensure cybersecurity policies are upheld.
