Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. in Swindon seeks a Cx Digital Substation Engineer I to program, test and commission protection relays for MV environments.

You will work with SCADA interfaces, EPMS and relay brands, providing technical assistance and on-site commissioning across multiple projects. The role requires 3 years in industrial/data center relay programming or 7+ years experience, travel of 30-70%, and a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• B.S. Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with minimum 3 years Industrial/Data Center experience OR 7+ years relay programming field experience.
• 3 years minimum of Industrial/Data Center experience.
• Willingness to travel 30-70%.
• Work schedule between 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Programming, testing and commissioning of protection relays and relay settings.
• Assist with EPMS and SCADA in MV environments; install and commission systems.
• Configure MMC/relay brands (SEL, Schneider, Siemens, GE, ABB) and verify PRP switch redundancy.
• Analyze faults and generate sequence-of-events reports from field data.
• Collaborate with independent power producers, industrial customers, engineering firms and contractors.
• Write commissioning scripts including FAT/SAT for hyperscale datacenters.
• Apply LOTO procedures during operations.
