Job summary

Grundfos UK is seeking a Sales Engineer, Water Utility - Digital, to accelerate adoption of digital and IoT solutions across UK water utilities. You will combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to address infrastructure challenges with smart pumping and water management technologies.

You'll build relationships with key decision-makers, deliver compelling demonstrations, collaborate with engineers, and shape go-to-market strategies while traveling across the UK.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical sales experience in the water/wastewater industry or related infrastructure sector.
• Solid understanding of digital solutions such as SCADA, IoT sensors, remote monitoring, or predictive analytics in an industrial context.
• Proven track record of managing complex B2B sales cycles with utility or public sector customers.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for Grundfos digital and IoT-enabled solutions targeting water utility customers across the UK.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at water utilities, including asset managers, operations leads, and digital transformation teams.
• Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations of digital monitoring, control, and optimisation solutions.
• Collaborate with application engineers and product specialists to design tailored digital solutions that address specific customer needs.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, industry events, and existing account development.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
