Job summary

Vodafone Group Plc is seeking a senior Digital Architect to shape enterprise-scale digital solutions. You will design cloud-native architectures using microservices and event-driven approaches, balancing security, performance, and maintainability across our customer-facing platforms.

You will collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams, define architectural requirements, and guide delivery in a SAFe/Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale digital solutions for customer-facing platforms.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, micro-frontends and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native applications (serverless, containers, auto-scaling).
• Ability to document solution designs with security, performance and resilience in mind.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and API design best practices.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and related principles.

Responsibilities

• Define and shape solution architectures for digital platforms.
• Collaborate with product, UX, architecture and engineering teams to translate needs into end-to-end solutions.
• Provide ROM estimates and high-level options for new initiatives.
• Ensure architectures meet security, performance, scalability and cost targets.
• Guide teams in delivery planning and guardrail establishment.
• Promote reusability, simplicity and lifecycle integrity of solutions.
