Job summary

Realise Education in Barking is seeking an IT/Computing teacher to deliver engaging lessons for KS3/KS4 within a SEN/SEMH outreach provision. The role emphasises digital skills, coding and digital design, with a flexible start and a long-term placement through the academic year.

You will adapt lessons for SEND pupils, working with Therapeutic Education Practitioners to help learners build confidence through project-based digital activities both in person and virtually.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or QTLS for teaching.
• Specialism in IT/Computing or related subject.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver IT/Computing lessons for KS3/KS4.
• Adapt lessons to meet SEND/ASC/SEMH needs.
• Support EHCP targets and pupil progress.
• Deliver project-based digital learning activities.
• Collaborate with Therapeutic Education Practitioners and teams.
