In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive the execution of ABB's digital sales strategy across the UK cluster, playing a pivotal role in boosting market presence and unlocking growth potential. You will champion innovative digital initiatives to deliver strong performance across key metrics — from revenue and margin to customer satisfaction and market share. As a key architect of ABB’s digital future, this role fuels the expansion of our digital customer base, spearheads direct sales to strategic digital clients, and accelerates the growth of our Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.The work model for the role is: remote {#LI-remote}This role is contributing to the Energy Industries business, part of the Process Automation division.You will be mainly accountable for:• Selling digital solutions to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for Energy customers in the UK cluster, both existing and new customers.• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.• Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager.• Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions• Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.• Anticipates and identifies the shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial actions proactively.• Driving top line growth.• Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships (including customers’ Digital stakeholders) to understand customer needs, promotes their understanding to ABB’s complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligns with ABB sales to provide a comprehensive solution to solve customer needs.
