Job description

What you'll do

Role Overview

To support the successful delivery of website projects from initial briefing through to launch, helping to keep timelines, tasks, communication and quality on track.
Working closely with our project, design, development and client services teams, you’ll coordinate the day-to-day detail of each project and help ensure everyone has the information they need to deliver their work.

What You Do: key responsibilities

  • Support the project management and wider delivery team by identifying challenges early, gathering the relevant information and helping to progress an appropriate solution.
  • Project Coordination: Help to create and maintain website project plans, timelines, milestones and task lists using Journey’s established delivery process.
  • Support the translation of client requirements into clear briefs and actions for our design and development teams, asking questions where anything is unclear.
  • Risk Monitoring: Keep track of project risks, blockers and dependencies, escalating them promptly to the Project Manager and relevant team members.
  • Communication: Provide clear, timely updates to clients and internal teams, coordinate meetings and follow up on actions, decisions and outstanding information.
  • Support quality checks throughout each website project, ensuring work has been reviewed against the agreed brief before it progresses.
  • Coordinate snagging, amends and quality issues, making sure they are clearly recorded, assigned and followed through to completion.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of Journey’s website project management processes, tools and ways of working.
  • Share practical feedback and ideas that could help improve project delivery and team efficiency.
  • Support the preparation of project estimates, schedules and delivery plans.
  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities, tasks and deadlines across multiple website projects.
  • Prepare clear project status updates covering milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and next steps.
  • Continuous Improvement: Take part in project reviews and contribute ideas to improve the way we deliver websites.
  • Help to capture project learnings and evaluate delivery against the agreed objectives, timeline and scope.
What you'll bring
  • Around 1–2 years’ experience coordinating website projects in an agency, studio or similar digital environment.
  • Confidence working with a range of people and keeping tasks moving.
  • Clear, friendly and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Some experience using project management tools and an understanding of the key stages of a website project.
  • A practical understanding of website design and development, including how designers, developers, content and client teams work together.
  • The ability to stay organised and manage competing tasks across several website projects in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to solving problems, with the judgement to ask for support or elevate when needed.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a genuine focus on quality.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a willingness to learn and work within established processes.
What you'll get

We’re a collective of disruptive thinkers, digital specialists and tech pioneers. But above all, we’re a team. We win together, and lose together. And we pride ourselves on our ethos of culture first, capability second.

  • Strong people and communication skills. Commercially minded.
  • Fast learner, accountable and ambitious.
  • Passionate about detail, data and order. Focused on improving processes and systems.
  • Driven to be an expert in our industry and be ahead of our competitors.
  • Ability to work under your own initiative in a fast paced environment and industry.
