This role requires an enthusiastic, organised, and adaptable professional with strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills. The trainer must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, engaging with practice managers, clinicians, and dental teams to inspire confidence in digital solutions. Additionally, a data-driven mindset is crucial, as success in this role will be measured by adoption rates, engagement levels, and practice performance improvements.

In addition to training, 30% of this role will involve supporting the 1st-level digital support team, assisting with basic troubleshooting, user inquiries, and technical guidance to enhance the overall customer experience.

This is a field-based position requiring approximately 70% travel, with flexibility for varied working hours based on customer needs, as well as occasional weekend work for industry events and trade shows.

  • Support the Digital Success Manager (DSM) in driving successful integration and adoption of Straumann digital solutions within dental practices and labs.
  • Work closely with practice managers, clinicians, and staff to drive engagement, enhance patient care, and support overall practice growth through digital transformation.
  • Take a data-driven approach to adoption, using metrics and customer feedback to assess engagement levels, identify challenges, and refine training strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as scanner usage rates, workflow efficiency, and patient treatment uptake to measure training success and digital adoption.
  • Identify and address challenges in digital workflow adaptation, proactively providing solutions to optimize integration.
  • Provide follow-up training and ongoing support to reinforce best practices and ensure sustained digital adoption.
  • Assist in creating and updating training materials, incorporating advancements in digital dentistry and customer feedback.

  • Support industry events and trade shows, representing Straumann’s digital solutions and demonstrating product capabilities.
  • Assist the 1st-level digital support team with customer inquiries, troubleshooting, and resolving basic technical issues related to IOS and Straumann digital solutions.
  • Provide remote or on-site guidance to address common challenges, ensuring minimal disruptions in digital workflow adoption.
  • Maintain accurate logs of support interactions in CRM tools, helping track recurring challenges and inform future training initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in training, coaching, or education, preferably within the dental, medical, or healthcare technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital dentistry workflows, particularly Intraoral Scanner (IOS) technology.
  • Experience supporting digital adoption and workflow integration in a healthcare or technology setting.
  • Ability to translate complex technology into easy-to-understand training for dental professionals.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage schedules efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging and inspiring diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data-driven insights to assess adoption rates and improve training effectiveness.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and familiarity with digital support processes, ensuring effective collaboration with the 1st-level digital support team.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools, analytics dashboards, and digital training platforms to track customer progress and engagement.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.
