Job summary

BMW UK, National Sales Centre, Farnborough, is offering a Digital Platforms - Placement Year internship starting July 2027. You will gain hands-on experience across E-commerce, Digital Platforms, Marketing and Aftersales, working on BMW & MINI Online Shops, major marketplaces, and digital service journeys.

You will support campaigns, platform improvements, and reporting across the UK retailer network, with occasional travel for offsite meetings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Business Analytics, Marketing, IT or related field with at least a 2:2.
• Interest in e-commerce and online stores; online selling experience is a plus.
• Strong interest in how digital systems and online platforms work, with willingness to learn both commercial and technical aspects.

Responsibilities

• Support the management and development of BMW & MINI's e-commerce channels, including Online Shops and global marketplaces.
• Coordinate website developments with external agencies and technology partners, supporting digital marketing activities and customer experience improvements.
• Produce and analyze performance reports across digital platforms to understand customer behavior, campaign performance and trends.
• Assist in developing Digital Convenient Journey platforms such as Service Online Booking, BMW Chat and BMW Pay, including retailer communications and platform rollout across the UK.
• Occasionally attend offsite meetings; majority of time spent at Summit One in Farnborough.
