Job summary
Diagnexia, a digital pathology lab, seeks a Biomedical Scientist to work on a 7-day rota with 8.5-hour shifts. You will collect, process, and digitise samples, uphold UKAS 15189 standards, and contribute to method development while collaborating with pathologists and clinical teams.

Qualifications
- Degree in Biomedical science or related field.
- HCPC registration as Biomedical Scientist is mandatory.
- Minimum 18 months histopathology laboratory experience including specimen handling and staining.
- Proven CPD and competency adherence.
- Experience with UKAS audits and working in a UKAS accredited lab.
Responsibilities
- Collect and handle biological samples with proper labelling and storage.
- Perform specimen processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, and digitisation.
- Maintain QA/QC, follow SOPs, and support audits.
- Develop and validate new lab methods per UK standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for healthcare providers.
